Hi, I'm Sally,

Your Event Coach.

I'm the founder of The Event Planners Workshop and my passion is helping people like you create memorable, transformational and life changing events.

Here's my story

I've been a Jack (or Jill) of all trades for most of my career, with no real defined pathway until...

In 2007 when I started working for a local government authority and was tasked with being the event organiser to promote public transport.  Loving doing this job full time, I finally felt like I had landed on something I could call a "career" and in 2011 graduated with a degree in production and arts management, and decided to own the title "Event Manager".

I’ve been producing events my whole life.

I have since realised that I always was the event creator, wherever I worked.  Every job I've every had, and even in my parents' businesses, I was involved in creating events, promotional activities or conferences - I just had no idea it was a profession!

Fast forward and I have professionally produced more than 160 events in the past ten years, and served nearly 30,000 audience members.  From festivals to conferences, cocktail parties to fundraisers, there isn't an event type I haven't produced.

Is it me you're looking for?.

I designed this program for online course creators and coaches.  My event creation system and delivery support gives you clarity, confidence, and courage to create your own in-real-life events. I help you curate your own stage, and realise the deep transformation you can offer your clients, when you bring them together in person.

I serve my clients through live courses,  1:1 coaching, digital downloads and VIP execution days. I am a practicing event producer and keep my skills, knowledge and network fresh and up to date.

I'm passionate about building your capability and capacity, and to encourage greater audience experiences in the space of in-person events.

I do this work to remind you of the difference between going to the concert, being in the crowd, being part of shared energy, compared to flicking on the TV and watching your favourite performer on the screen in front of you. It's still good, but the vibration, energy and feeling just can't get through the digital realm.
