Sponsorship PitchFest:  Beyond the Banner

Sponsorship PitchFest is an opportunity to build the offer and then pitch it live for instant feedback.  No more sending it out to random companies hoping you have something they want to buy.  Get expert advice and real time feedback, all in one event.

The inside take on how to build a compelling sponsorship prospectus.

In this half day workshop we will gain an understanding of what sponsors are looking for in your pitch and how to present a compelling case to choose your property over all the others.

Time with experts to craft your proposal ready for pitching

We will build your prospectus right there in the room, using behind the scenes case studies and real world examples from people who are in the field today, and understand the fast pace of today's marketing teams.

A space to pitch to a live audience and network with decision makers

Following the workshop we will host a networking event full of event professionals, corporate leaders, brand managers and marketers and provide the opportunity to pitch your proposal to a live audience.  Receive real time feedback from the people you're pitching to, have conversations about what's valuable, and get intel you won't get anywhere else.

We promise, once you have been to an Event Managers Network event, you will never feel like you're creating your events alone again. You will always have a list of colleagues, suppliers, and supporters, ready to help you to produce your best event possible.

Are you constantly asking in groups for contacts or connections?

True, many of our friends have great contacts and it's always helpful when they share. But what if you had your own little black book and didn't need to rely on random strangers' recommendations on Facebook?

The last Event Managers Network attracted:

  • 52% full time & 42% part event planners
  • 58% planners + 42% suppliers
  • 21% company owners
  • 65% company employees or freelancers

You will leave this event with key contacts who you will be able to call on, the next time you're working on your event.  No more having to rely on friends or random strangers on the internet.  Your contact list is your most valuable asset.

About the Organiser

Hey, I'm Sally and I've been an event producer in Brisbane for many years.

The Event Managers Network was started by Genevieve Deaconos around 2017.  Gen had a desire to connect Brisbane's event community and provide opportunities to collaborate and learn from each other.  I believe whole heartedly in this mission and in addition, I think we have not only lots to learn from our contemporaries, but also people in other fields who gather audiences, such as music, festivals, dance, film and theatre.

I own the event company Red Lanyard, as well as coach and train people in the art of event planning, filling the gap between a full blown qualification, and doing things on the fly. I love everything about the event planning and delivery and I love nothing more than hanging out with and hearing from people who do the same.

Feel free to track me down in all the usual places and connect with me.  I can't wait to meet you.
